Rainy mood

Art trade with :iconchocolatefishfins:. :dummy:

Don't be sad, I'm here with you. We'll always face bad times. But you know things will get better.
Like after a storm, the sunshine will come and light up every hope. Smile, my sweetie.

This took me quite a lot. :XD: But I love the result! ♥ It's so detailed and PERF asdfdfahdagdajk.
They look so cute and in love! ;A; AHHHH :aww: I had a blast drawing this!
She asked me if I could draw these cuties in a cave together while it's raining outside. I played a bit with lights like if the sun was shining on the cave... ehehe! ^^; I hope you'll like it anyway, hun! ♥
Started yesterday and finished today, but I've tried to make it at least 4 times since I asked her to do this art-trade. Any of my try-outs were okay for me, they looked without 'life'. And somehow I couldn't draw these dragons together. They looked odd, weird.
But yesterday, while I was watching Tarzan on streaming, (:XD:) I got inspiration and started to sketch out the background. In fact I first did it, while I kept the charas at the end. It came out wonderfully, I'm finally happy and proud! :iconlazycryplz: Oh and I'm getting used to the grayscale coloring technique. I paint everything in grayscale and I don't worry about colors, I add them with a layer set on 'Overlay'. :) It's really comfortable! c8 You can find both colored and greyscale version here on my Tumblr! -> nidhoggrthedragoness.tumblr.co…
I can't wait to see her part! *w*

Hope you like it! ♥

Really good job, and great rain rendering.
But the copyright, right in the middle, is a bit too intrusive ^^ Year, I understand you may be afraid of stealers, but that's also a shame to "let them damage" your picture just because you need to put a copyright in the middle of the deviation.

Thanks a lot! :meow: Yeah well I do it coz of stealers. ;U; Maybe I will reduce opacity of the copyright later~ It'll be less visible but it'll be there anyway. I mostly put it where it's kinda impossible to remove with editing programs. In fact if a thief would like to claim it as its own drawing, he/she would give up or totally screw the picture. I'm kinda very stubborn in this. ^^; I like to know my art is safe from those ones! :XD: Thanks a lot for pointing out, tho! :D

It can always be removed, regardless what you'll do. It only needs more time if you put a big one in the middle on the picture.
You can do it another way : add a special item on every of your draw. Like, you're named "Glowing Spirit", so, you could add some kind of glowing avatar, reprensenting a "spirit", and put it on the picture.
Using so, you'll not have a written copyright (you can still write the date for instance), but you'll have a "picture" copyright. Much much much more to remove than texts, not only because it can be bigger, but also because texts uses fonts, and can be "reverse engineered", whereas your "glowing spirit mark" will be hand draw and impossible to reverse-engineer. A safer and more beautiful copymark :dummy:

Ahhh I'll think about that, thanks! :glomp:
I remember I used a watermark in my old pictures. also written copyright *cough cough* [link] I got bored of that, I didn't like it and decided to keep only the written copyright on my images. :XD: That's why! xD But okay I'll try to make another 'logo' soon~

I was more thinking about something really inside the drawing, not "over" it. Like, *Fourth-Star often (nearly always) add a Shrimp on her drawings (like [link], but really inside the drawing. That's something quite un-removable. Yes, this kind of copymark won't shout "IT'S GLOWING SPIRIT'S WORK!" but it will prove that this is your work, aka, it will make it instantly recognizable.

Very very nice idea! ;) I will have to think about a certain symbol that rapresents my works. C: Thanks! :D

(psss, you forget the date! (c) without a date is useless, because you cannot prove the release date, aka, I could say "hey, this is (c) Glowing Spirit, but it was draw in 1940 and so it's no longer copyrighted because it's too old!", so, don't forget the year ;) )
